AN ORANGE DAY IN ABUJA: SHOP AND PLAY IN COLLABORATION WITH ORANGE CULTURE

By Gerald Okereafor - June 01, 2018

Happy New Month Guys!

I wish you all the best that June has to offer. I am so glad to be here again, and it is super interesting to share this post with you guys.

Some days back I got an invitation via mail to be present at the Orange culture and Davido “IF” collection installation hosted by Shop and play, Abuja. The notice was prompt, as I got it a day to the event, and this left me a little bit uncertain about what I had in my wardrobe to attend the event, which was themed- An Orange Day in Abuja.

Luckily, I had a complete set of orange printed Top and short. I wanted a little bit of contrast in my look, so I pushed-away the idea of attending the event dressed in the complete set orange print piece. So, I tweaked things a bit to create some silent distraction by pairing the orange print top with a black ripped jean and a pair of deck boots. And that’s how I styled myself for the event.

The event was wonderful as I got to network with a whole host of individuals present there who cut across several industries, it also featured a runway exhibition of orange cultures Autumn Winter 18 (AW18) and a performance by musical artiste Jon Ogah.

This review wouldn’t have been possible without the selfless photographer, Ikenna Ideh who covered me at the event.
