The brutish nature of the streets leaves us sitting on the edges of our seat, for the fear of the unknown. Street style is undoubtedly everyone’s go-to-go, reasons being that; they require little styling effort and leave many individuals with a plethora of styling options, unlike the rigid formal menswear with its accompanied complexity of styling. Street style forms the core of pop-culture, as seen in music videos of your favourite artiste, to the laid-back look of your actors/actress off the red-carpet. It is safe to conclude that they (musicians and actors/actress alike) are all street style forward and, to a large extent, are seen as mainstream influencers.

One thing for sure is that the credibility of a style rests in its originality. With that said, being a native African, I adopted an Afrocentric styling approach (as seen in the dress-shirt). Overtime, African fabrics have been used internationally by renowned fashion designers in their collections chiefly because of their unique patterns and vibrant colour, which undeniably crafts a fashion statement.

At the pinnacle of street style dynasty is where you would find a commandeering ripped jean. Styling this look, I definitely had no intentions on making the ensemble look dull by playing safe with neutral hued jeans such as black. Rather, I went on styling the look with the subtle but conspicuously lively stonewashed denim ripped jean.

When pulling street style, the onus is on you to be as classy as you can, being that it is totally unrestrictive. That is why I would advise that you;
• Express yourself to the fullest, as there is no such thing as being overdressed.
• Use a bandana to reiterate the notion of street style; which is unrefined and unrestrictive.
• Boot things up in Chelsea boots.
• Look for harmony and then mix appropriately.

So that is all the sauce I have got for you guys in today’s post. Definitely not a tricky one, it is one you could pull with ease, over-and-over again, without any perplexity. Once more I would love to thank you all who visit this blog and also say a big thank you to everyone who voted, as we won the award for the “CHOICE FASHION BLOGGER” at the NTCA Awards 2017. God bless you all and do have a wonderful weekend.
