SIMPLE RHYTHM IN ANKARA X SECRET GARDEN

By Gerald Okereafor - August 06, 2017

Nothing gives more confidence other than a rhythmic sequence of pleasant colours. Modernisation has hit every facet of life; from the cars we drive, to the very clothes we wear. Astutely taking different forms and styles, as change is inevitable. So, how does this apply to fashion as a whole? Do designers take lead inspiration from this change that comes with modernisation? What about trends? We could go on-and-on trying to perfectly riddle our way into the right direction.

It is no news that the ubiquitous Ankara fabric is amongst the mainstream clothing articles you would find in any home of African heritage; some are deftly tailored into mouth-watering outfits, while others are effortlessly structured just to keep you simple, smart and definitely sharp.

So guys, as for some Sundays where you really don’t intend to slay and “pepper dem” in the regular male wardrobe regalia of most Nigerian men (talking about senator suit and agbada), you could simply opt for a placid overall piece, consisting of a bishop collar shirt and a matching tailored trouser. It is safe to say that it’s a simple but smart approach, as you do not need to;
•Over style the look with accessories.
•Wear footwear with eye-catching details.

Rather all you need is to;
•Be courageous in pulling a very simple  but special statement.
•Put on a neutral tone footwear (such as black derbies, or even a black sandal), so as to keep the whole ensemble mute.
•Ensure that your outfit is properly tailored without poor tread work.
•Ensure that the wear fits properly.

So guys, that’s how simple you could finesse in leisure, with little or no hassle. Finally, shout out to the management of Secret Garden who let me carryout this project in their wonderful resort centre. A place of choice if you ask me!

Thanks for stopping by.
