Hope you are all doing great. Its weekend already guys, who‘s excited😀? Certainly I am because, I get to chill out at my favourite recreational spot, catching the best possible vibes😉.

Today’s editorial is somewhat different. One in which I had to collaborate with the wonderful and ever elegant Opriche, a Nigerian style blogger based in United Kingdom. In my own words, I would describe her sense of style as 'CHIC AND DARING'💯. I had a very wonderful time working out this very editorial with her. You could stay plugged to her blog here (or still yet frequent her feeds via instagram @opriche).

So let’s hit the wheels spinning. The provoking nature of summer has a telling effect on what we put on as wears, likewise plays a pivotal role in determining our disposition to come out of our comfort zone. I mean, deciding on what to wear may seemingly look straight forward, take for example; one could be simply dressed-down by just putting on a polo top, denim shorts and a pair of espadrille . But aren't we all contemporary and fashion forward? So why not opt for something more daring? Something capable of announcing your presence in any gathering, something that may perhaps serve as your pre-wedding look (not like Opriche and I had that in mind 😊).

The aim intuitively is to loosen the stuffy office connotation attached to certain clothing articles during summer. Take for instance; blazers. So categorically what is in today’s editorial is the ultimate all-rounder look; being that its sharp, crisp, attractive and figure imposing. With all that said, let us get equipped with the necessary bits and pieces on how to style a summer look with flair in leisure.

During times like this, we are utterly clueless on what to wear, best question to ask is WWMMLM (what would make me look majestic)? The answer is: double brested blazer. They are special and help wearers stand out distinctively, giving that desired dosage of confidence especially if its king fitted. Opt for adaptable hues capable of blending with major forms of print and pattern. Black in particular saves you the stress of thinking too much.

Owing to the intense heat, choosing the right fabrication matters a whole lot. The look for this editorial being smart-casual oriented made me play down on the importance of wearing a knot or bow tie. So, grandad collar shirt always work the magic, particularly in breathable fabric such as linen or cotton.

Teaming up with the grandad collar shirt should be a wonderfully tailored Ankara short. I would advise that; tall men should have their shorts slightly above their knees, while short men should have theirs couple of inches above their knees; this allows for total versatility.

It’s safe to say that a look without the killer footwear is like a building without quality furnishing. Certainly not shying away from the nautical theme (being a summer smart-casual look), I finished off with a pair of boat shoes. Finally, I tweaked the look a bit with some accessories just to make it more edgy and detail-defining.

Thanks for stopping by guys, see you next time.Same station. Stay tuned.
